The Story Behind Album's Creation/Inspiration

"A River Lee Christmas" is more than just a holiday record—it’s a tribute to one of the most important people in my life, my maternal grandmother. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and from the moment I started making music, I knew that one day, I had to create a Christmas album in her honor. But I didn’t want it to be just another collection of standard holiday songs—I wanted it to be something special, something that truly captured the magic, warmth, and meaning of the season.

So, I set out to blend some of my favorite classics, like "O Holy Night" and "Do You Hear What I Hear", with original songs straight from my heart. I wanted this album to feel both nostalgic and new, something that could bring people together the way Christmas always brought my family together.

I believe I met my goal with this album, and I know without a doubt that my grandmother would have absolutely loved it. So, Grandma—this one’s for you.
