Lyric Writing Only

Perfect for artists who have a melody but need lyrics to tell their story. 

Price:

 $150 per song (with Lyricist Credit & Royalties) 
 $400 per song (for Full Copyright Transfer - No Royalties) 

Includes:

• One-on-one consultation to understand your story and vision
• Two rounds of revisions for a perfect fit 

Full Songwriting (Lyrics + Melody)

Ideal for those seeking a custom, fully written song from start to finish.

Price: 

$350 per song (with Songwriter Credit & Royalties) 
$700 per song (for Full Copyright Transfer - No Royalties) 

Includes:

•  Initial consultation and brainstorming session
•  Original lyrics and melody tailored to your style and needs
• A demo recording (acoustic guitar/vocal) 
• Two rounds of revisions

Collaborative Songwriting

For those who want to collaborate to refine or finish a song idea. 

Price:

$50/hour (with Songwriter Credit & Royalties) 
$100/hour (for Full Copyright Transfer - No Royalties) [cite: 4]

Includes:

• Collaborative sessions (in person or virtual)  
• Feedback, brainstorming, and melody/lyric development

 Custom Lyrics for Special Occasions

Commission a personalized song for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, or other special events. 

Price: 

$250 per song 
$500 for Song and Video Accompaniment 

Includes:

• Consultation to capture the story and sentiment 
• Custom lyrics and melody tailored to the occasion 
• Two rounds of revisions 

Copyright & Royalties

Clients may choose between two options for song ownership and royalties:

Lyricist/Songwriter Credit & Royalties (Lower Cost) 

•  I retain lyricist or songwriter credit and share copyright ownership. 
• A standard royalty split will apply for any commercial release of the song. 
• I retain full or shared copyright control, depending on the nature of the collaboration. 
•  I reserve the right to use, modify, or perform the song for my own purposes, including recording, performing, or releasing it commercially. 

Full Copyright Transfer (Higher Cost)

• Full copyright ownership is transferred to the client. 
• No royalties will be required, and the client retains exclusive rights to the song. 
•  Recommended for personal use or artists seeking full control over their work. 

Payment and Terms of Service

Payment Terms

• A 10% deposit is required upon signing to initiate the project. 
• The remaining balance is due upon project completion and approval of final deliverables.
•  Clients will receive by email a packet with the details of our consultation and a project outline along with a payment invoice and a Package Payment Form after the consultation
  • Clients will be required to sign and send back the Package Payment Form to riverleemusic40@outlook.com
  • The Package Payment Form once signed will be the contract between the client and Roger Carroll-May (River Lee) and will be legally binding.
  •  Clients can and are encouraged to edit the project outline and send back to riverleemusic40@outlook.com
     

 Revisions

• Each package includes two rounds of revisions. 
• Additional revisions will be charged at $50 per revision.
• Additional Revisions will be billed separately  

 Cancellation Policy

Deposits are non-refundable once the project has commenced. 

Confidentiality

 All client information and project details will be kept confidential. 

 Consultations

•  All consultations are conducted either remotely by phone or video chat. 
• In-person consultations are available for local clients within a 50-mile radius. 
• Each package includes two revisional consultations.
